What does Christmas stand for?
In theory, it is a Christian recurrency celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. In practice, clueless people start running left and right like rats in the sewers, trying to find that useless last-minute gift.
They shove down their throat huge amounts of food and alcohol, but with the usual promise of "new year, new me, and blah blah". Bullshit.
They happily buy the "ugly Christmas sweaters" and post pics wearing them on social media. How funny. Sometimes even in couples, pathetic to the square.
Well, like always, we thought: what better way to express our displeasure concerning a social issue than to create an artwork and drop a collection?
Our Graffiti Inspired Anti-Christmas Collection
It will be buyable until the 25th of December. After that, it will be gone forever. There is a timer on site pretty much everywhere, signaling how much time you have left to grab it.
The graffiti inspired artwork represents a Christmas tree formed of graffiti throw-up letters that say: Fuck this bullshit! On the top of the tree, instead of the typical Christmas star, there is our iconic snowflake logo which, for this special occasion, we made bubbly to match the graffiti throw-up style of the artwork.
But, this time, we went beyond the creation of a graffiti inspired artwork. We also wrote a speech called "Choose Christmas" that we used as a soundtrack within the video of the graffiti artwork's creation process that you can watch at the top of this page.
The text of the speech takes inspiration from the famous speech "Choose Life" present in the movie Trainspotting and its sequel Trainspotting 2. We invite you to watch the video at the top of this page, like, comment, and all those good stuff. However, you can also read our "Choose Christmas" speech at the bottom of this page.
If you also strongly dislike this hypocritical social recurrence, do not lose the opportunity to kill two birds with one stone, or actually three. Snag this unique graffiti inspired wearable artwork while openly displaying your displeasure for Christmas and proudly repping your weirdness.
