Trk One x B.Different Clothing limited collaboration interview

Trk One: Graffiti Artist Interview & Limited Streetwear Collaboration

A graffiti collaboration inspired by creativity, storytelling, and street culture

For this limited collaboration, we sat down with Yuri, better known as TRK ONE — a Belarusian artist whose creativity extends across graffiti, illustration, tattooing, and design.

Blending graffiti with cartoon illustrations, comics, animation, and symbolic storytelling, TRK ONE has developed a unique visual language rooted in street culture. What started as a childhood fascination with graffiti has evolved into a full-time creative career, allowing him to express himself across multiple artistic disciplines while staying connected to the culture that inspired him from the beginning.

The Artist Behind

Who are you?

My name is Yuri, I'm 37 years old, and I create under the name TRK ONE. I'm from Belarus, and my creative work spans graffiti, illustration, tattooing, and design.

The Collaboration

How did the collaboration with B.Different Clothing and Mural Graffitis happen?

I've always wanted to work with your brand. I've been following your content for a long time because I find it both interesting and useful. I was probably waiting for the right moment, and now I'm very happy to be part of what you're building and contributing to the project.

Graffiti Journey

When and why did you start graffiti?

I started doing graffiti as a kid, around 2006. Over the years I took several long breaks due to personal circumstances, and at first I didn't see graffiti as the main focus of my life. As time passed, I completely rethought my relationship with it. Today, graffiti is an essential part of both my life and my work, and I'm very happy that it became such an important part of who I am.

How would you describe your art style?

My style is a combination of graffiti, cartoon illustration, comics, animation, and symbolic storytelling. I like creating characters and objects that connect to street art culture while telling stories that people can relate to.

What inspires your graffiti?

The process itself inspires me the most. I find inspiration in the environment around me, the places where I paint, and the tools I use. Most of my ideas come from real-life experiences and situations that are familiar to people involved in graffiti and street art culture.

Street Art & Philosophy

What do street art and graffiti mean to you?

For me, graffiti and street art are the most natural and understandable forms of creative expression. They give me energy, inspiration, and motivation. What I love most is how graffiti has evolved into an important part of culture, music, fashion, and design. It has gone far beyond walls and trains and has become a recognized part of contemporary art, which makes me very happy.

Are there artists or brands that inspire you?

Absolutely. I have many graffiti idols who continue to inspire me today. Some of the artists who have had a strong influence on my style include Does, Smoke, Boogie, Cheo, Hembre, Meats, Sweet, and Cope2, among many others.

Life as an Artist

Are you a full-time professional artist?

Yes. Art is my full-time profession today, although it took me a long time to make that decision. Before becoming an artist, I worked in engineering and wasn't sure if I could successfully turn creativity into a career. Looking back, I don't regret the decision at all. Creating art brings me genuine satisfaction and fulfillment.

What artwork are you most proud of so far?

At the moment, I'm most proud of my canvas works. I've only recently started exploring this direction, and I find it incredibly exciting. It has its own unique magic and also offers interesting opportunities within galleries and the fine art world.

What has your experience been like trying to grow as an artist?

It wasn't something that happened overnight. For a long time, I wasn't sure I could become a professional artist. As I got older, I began to believe in that possibility more and more, and that confidence helped me achieve results. Social media and the support from followers and viewers played a huge role in my journey, giving me both motivation and confidence to continue developing my work.

What advice would you give to aspiring artists?

Practice as much as possible in any format. Sketch every day, draw consistently, and focus on improving your skills. Once you start creating work that you genuinely enjoy yourself, other people will begin to appreciate it too. Most importantly, do it because you love it. If you're passionate about what you create, the results will eventually follow.

B.Different Philosophy

What do you think about the philosophy behind B.Different Clothing?

Your brand does an incredible job of promoting and supporting graffiti culture. I've always had great respect for people who help make graffiti more accessible, popular, and appreciated by a wider audience. Through your collaborations and projects, you're helping people discover the creativity and beauty behind graffiti culture. I sincerely appreciate what you're doing and have a lot of respect for your brand and everything it represents.
