What makes a pant a jogger?
Joggers and sweatpants have always been a staple in any streetwear outfit and not only. Rather you want to comfortably work from home, go for a walk, train at the gym, go for a run, or simply chill with your friends, joggers are arguably one of the best choices.
Joggers were originally created to be worn while training. Howerver, similarly to many pieces from the athleisure trend, the mainstream made them trendy and wearable for several occasions. Generally speaking, joggers are conventional sports pants that are lightweight, comfortable, and have an athletic appearance.
What is the athleisure trend?
Recently you might have heard about a trend called Athleisure, which refers to athletic apparel, such as sweatpants and jogger pants, for example, worn by people during their workouts but also leisure time.
In all honesty, we do not really give a fuck about any trend whatsoever, but we just wanted to mention it to make the article longer and hopefully rank higher on Google.
What's the difference between sweatpants and joggers?
They are very similar type of sport pants. The main difference between the two is the weight of the fabric. Compared to sweathpants, the joggers are usually made from a thinner and more lightweight fabric to allow your legs to "breathe" easier. Sweatpants are simply created with a thicker fabric so that they can also be warmer than joggers.

But let's talk a bit about the details. First of all, they are definitely comfortable and stylish. They have constrasting color drawstrings and pocket inside. The fabric is composed by 60% cotton and 40% polyester pre-shrunk fleece, and are also pilling resistant.
For what concerns the joggers' fit, they have a fairly loose but tapered fit. At the legs extremities, they have tight ankle cuffs.
How do you style joggers?
The short answer, as always, is however the fuck you prefer. However, if you want to keep it simple and fresh, just style it with some other streetwear staples such as a tee, hoodie, sweatshirt, or a cool jacket, and just complete your outfit with some cool matching sneakers. 100% can't go wrong.
